You ever look at your studio monitors and think to yourself “These sound great! If only they could handle a live performance.” Well, maybe it’s time to get yourself some speakers that can do both! Like the SV9-MK3 by BASSBOSS!

The BASSBOSS SV9-MK3 is a rugged, compact speaker that offers both high fidelity and high output. So if you’re a DJ or producer who spends hours creating music in the comfort of your own home studio and then goes out and does gigs for select audiences, this is a great way to achieve great sound in both situations without having to deal with lugging around GIANT speakers!

The SV9-MK3 is a 2-way active, vented, full-range powered speaker with a 1200 watt, 2-channel, Class D amplifier. Integrated comprehensive DSP provides users with a 96kHz sampling rate with 8 pushbutton presets that offer low pass filters, high pass filters, phase alignment, EQ, and multi-stage limiting. These presets are designed to be used with other BASSBOSS speakers and, as BASSBOSS puts it, there’s no incompatible combinations. Up to 100 presets can be stored in the DSP and loaded via LAN.

Handling your high end is a 1.4” voice-coil polyester diaphragm compression driver through a strategically placed 1” horn. For the low end, you’ve got a 9” woofer with a carbon fiber cone and neodymium magnet. That, combined with a 2.5” voice-coil, is able to handle high power, so you’re getting a lot of low and midrange out of this speaker. Overall, you’re covering a frequency range from a low of 50hz all the way up to a high of around 19,000Hz.

This is all housed in a birch cabinet, finished in a durable, high-pressure polyurea coating. The enclosure measures 18” x 10” x 15”, weighs in at 27 pounds, and features integrated handles for easy transport and a 35mm steel socket for pole mounting.
