HD 12-A mk5 active speaker boosts performance with a high-power professional 12" woofer and a 1.4" HF driver, a 1400W 2ch Class-D amplifier, and innovative FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control processing. Vocals are natural, the sound is clear at long distances, SPL power is stable at very high levels. The strength of HD series speakers comes from decades of experience building gear for the touring industry, equipping this compact cabinet with power and reliability expected for life on the road. Elegantly designed, the lightweight polypropylene cabinet with internal reinforcement offers maximum strength. The speaker also includes a steel pole mount, threaded inserts for rigging, and rubber handgrips. D-LINE offers working DJs and musicians professional sound designed with music in mind.
The powerful 1.4" diaphragm compression driver of the HD 12-A mk5 features extended dispersion control and high efficiency at long distance. The 12" woofer offers an extremely linear response and a precise, deep low-frequency control. All compression drivers and transducers are precision built, taking advantage of RCF’s superior knowledge and experience dedicated to achieving extremely high standards. RCF's Class-D power amplifier technology packs huge performance operating with high efficiency into a lightweight solution. D-Line amplifiers deliver ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response and impressive audio performance. The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminium structure which not only stabilises the amplifier during transportation but also helps the fan-less heat dissipation. All the D Line amplifiers present SMPS power supply section in order to produce maximum output and minimum transportation weight. The cabinet shape makes it easy to use the speaker for stage monitoring. Two M10 threaded inserts are available for optional mounting hardware, making the speakers perfect for use in wall-mounted or flown install applications.
